Hey blog!
Today I wanted to go over the responses for the survey. My survey had thirty responses. So I’m going to go over questions I think are important for the magazine.
So a main question was about the topics that they would like to see in a magazine. There were three that a lot of people liked. The article name with the tittle “The makeup & skincare of an expert” was one that people really liked. The other was “Find a style based on your personality”. And the third was “10 steps to create the perfect outfit”.
For the tittle of the magazines 57.6% percent chose the tittle Eterna. In one of my previous blog I had explained it means timeless. I think this is a good choice for a tittle as it is short and simple. I believe long times bore audience so this is a good pick.
So for this question out group wanted to know which font would fit best for the tittle. Since we have to do different issues of our magazine we were hoping for an eye catching font. And 75.8% choose the font “London”. How the font looks like is to the right of the data picture.
One of the questions asked for colors that they would prefer to see. Between the four choices roughly 48.5% choose pastels. So for the magazine I would have to use those tones. I don’t think it would be that hard as any color can be used for fashion.
For this question I wanted to know if one image or multiple images would appeal to a reader. Mostly everyone choose one main image with 84.8%. I think it’s better to have one image as this is more captivating than multiple images. Having multiple images confuses the viewers.
A really important part of a magazine is the cover. This sets the mood for the whole magazine. Readers are suppose to be captivated by the image and how it looks. So for this I put in the survey different magazines to see. 36.4% choose the vogue cover (the picture in the right). I’m one of my previous blogs I showed the other choices. But the vogue one was the most popular. But Elle magazine was a close second with 27.3%.
That’s all for today next I’m going to go in depth of what I want my magazine to look like!
