Hi again!
Like in the previous blog I wanted to give more insight on what is inside the survey. I also wanted to explain my groups and I's reasoning behind selecting some of the options.
This question is for anyone taking the survey to choose a topic they would like to see on a magazines. So for this topics I wanted to make them interesting. Something that would be both visual and textually appealing to a reader. Since this is a fashion magazine all the topics are based around that. The first is about how the person I interview for my magazine does their makeup. The second is about fashion trends that are good and bad. For this one I wanted to see what people think of the trends and if they are important enough to stay. Basically what this tittles are trying to talk about is fashion. Since my groups and Is magazines is about fashion we tried to stay on topic.
For this question I wanted to ask people answering the survey what they imagine a magazine to look like. Since we are looking for feedback on what they think should be on my magazine it’s important to ask which house style is more appealing to them. So we picked magazines that we thought were fairly different. For example Vogue makes the person stand out in a solid color background and by being on top of the tittle. In Elle the women stands out but also the tittle because they are both wearing dark colors while the background in gray making them stand out. In cosmopolitan there isn’t writing making this specially known that it’s about the people in the photo. GC also has a gray background but there is a lot of writing along the outside of the person in the photo making both stand out.
