SAMPLE INTERVIEW

Hey blog!

In todays blog I’m going to show the response from my questions. I interviewed a girl from my class and I learned some pretty interesting things to write my sample story. So here are the responses:

1. What is one hobby you think others aren’t interested in?
Being in band, a lot of people find it nerdy. There’s a stereotype that band kids are really smart. And that they all know each other really well when some don’t talk or are very quiet.

2. Why do you think the things a person likes makes them unique?
I think each person has a certain thing they like whether is soccer or art. And I think it’s also very interesting to see two people with different interest talk to each other and explain them to each other.

3. Who is someone in your life that you look up to?
My mom, because she tried really hard during my childhood to get me things that I wanted. Because we had low income but now seeing how he was with me and how she is now with my brother, makes me inspired.

4. How do you think being from a certain country affects one’s views on their day to day life?
It depends on how you experienced in a different country. For example one of my friends, Ameisha, she comes from an island close to Europe. She says there’s a lot of more chaos in the U.S, and more people and a lot of drama then in her country.

5. Where did you grow up, do you believe this affects who you are today?
Yeah, I don’t remember much past seven years. Basically, there was a lot of problems with my parents. And I grew up with my mom and grandma. It made me more on top of my work. And when we moved out I wasn’t as on top of myself. I feel like my grandma helped me with that.

6. When do you believe you grew out of your childhood mentality?
Probably during Covid, having to stay in one place for a good amount of time. It made me think of friendships and the situation I was in. It showed me who was real and who was not.

7. Where you’re from is there a certain place that brings you  comfort?
In from Hialeah, the one place that kind of comforting for me is the Checker’s down the street, me and my friends go there and talk about our problems or about anything. One of my friends works there so I also like to bother him.

8. What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
There is this one time when I was six I was taken to my first Disney in ice and we were watching Rapunzel skating. Then after the show I walked out with a big smile on my face. It made me really happy.

9. When was the last time a movie/tv show stuck with you that you still think about?
Five feet apart that movie actually inspired me in a way. It is incredibly sad because they can’t be with each other because they share the same illness. And although they can’t be with each other they find way around it.

10. Who is someone that you can never get bored of?
My boy best friend he’s one of those people that like could pull anything out of you. He’s incredibly extroverted and outgoing. He doesn’t care what people say about him. His motto literally is “It is what it is”. Ben thought he has a lot of struggles as well as I do. I fell like I could talk to him. That’s why I can never get bored of him.

Thanks for reading the blog, in the next blog I’ll show what I wrote for my story.
